Calo Rios

Calo Rios studied graphic design at the School of Visual Art where he studied with design legends Milton Glaser, Richard Wilde, Woody Pirtle and master type designer Ed Benguiat.
Between clases he worked at Howard Temner Design creating toy packaging for Marvel
under the ToyBiz brand.
Recruited by GT Interactive Software as it's first creative director, Calo is credited on AAA
titles such as the Doom franchise, Hexen, Quake, Mortal Kombat3 and Duke Nukem 3D.
In 1995, Calo founded Marching Ants USA with a client list that included some of the biggest names in the video game industry: 2K, Take-Two Interactive, Activision, Disney Interactive, id Software, Midway Games, NewKidCo, 3D Realms, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal and Tilting Point.
For Joytech, he developed product branding and packaging solutions for videogame accessories. For KIDdesigns he designed smartphone cases and accessories based on Marvel, Lucasfilm ltd., Disney and Universal licenses.
